Khanmigo for Teachers Now Free
Khanmigo for Teachers, an AI-powered teaching assistant developed by the well-known nonprofit Khan Academy, is now available for free to all U.S. teachers through a partnership with Microsoft. Khanmigo offers a relatively user-friendly interface that allows educators to start using its tools quickly after signing up.

Out of the Mouths of Babes
A recent study published in Science shows how babies can teach AI a thing or two about language. NYU researchers developed a machine learning model that mimics the way children learn language, utilizing 61 hours of first-person video and audio from an infant's perspective. The footage was gathered through a head-mounted camera worn by a child from 6 to 25 months (check out the adorable picture below).

Proud Moments & NYC’s HE3AT Program
This week featured one of the proudest moments for AI for Education. As part of our year-long collaboration with the NYC DOE's HE3AT program, we have been working with a group of 11th and 12th graders from South Brooklyn to help shape GenAI policy proposals as part of the DOE's AI Policy Lab.
