Houston ISD Partnership

Today has been a lot of fun. Not only did we train an amazing group of engaged HISD teachers on GenAI, we got to show off the AI Guidebook we partnered with HISD to create, AND I got to meet AI for Education’s Curriculum & Content Developer Mandy DePriest in person for the first time!

Houston has committed deeply to building AI Literacy for the entire district and is on the forefront of responsible adoption of AI in K12.

It has been a pleasure to partner with the HISD team on the soon-to-be-released AI Guidebook, training approach, forthcoming student curriculum, and PLC model. Thank you to Superintendent Miles, Rebecca Ballentine, Raul Alanis Jr, Christine Mai, and the entire team for making today happen!
