Make the Prompt Work for You

  • Use ChatGPT to generate additional information depending on the assignment. For example, if the assignment is to write creatively about a night at the Medici Ball, ask ChatGPT, "Write a brief summary of the Medici Ball. Include a description of the setting as well as any influential individuals in attendance."

  • Have ChatGPT create a rubric for assessing the assignment.

  • Ask ChatGPT for other ways that you could use the time traveler's guide in the classroom: "As an educator, what are other ways that I could use the time traveler's guide that you produced?"

  • Collaborate across subjects. For this example of the English teacher working on an assignment about the Renaissance, they could join forces with a history teacher, Latin teacher, and art teacher. Have ChatGPT think of ideas for how to collaborate if you're stuck!
