AI Literacy Tops the “Skills on the Rise” List

LinkedIn's inaugural "Skills on the Rise" list is out. It ranks the fastest-growing skills that professionals should invest in developing.

AI literacy tops the list at # 1.

LinkedIn data shows that by 2030, 70% of skills used in most jobs will change with AI as the "catalyst." Companies are already prioritizing candidates who understand and can leverage AI tools, which we mention in all of our keynotes and workshops.

Teaching students AI literacy in education isn't optional—it's essential. Investing in AI literacy today will prepare young people for tomorrow's opportunities. Whether you're a student, educator, or professional, now's the time to build this critical capacity.

We highly suggest sharing this report if you are trying to build buy-in for AI literacy training at your institution.

You can check out the full Skills on the Rise list in the comments and thanks to one of our new workshop facilitators Anashay Wright for sharing.
