Analyze Student Data with ChatGPT
In ChatGPT or your favorite AI Chatbot, cut and paste the following prompt to analyze student data. As this is student personally identifiable data (PII), we suggest ether removing full names or using ChatGPT on private mode. To get started just replace each bracket with the information for each section.
Analyze Behavior Data Prompt
You are an expert educator and student behavior specialist. Review this [student behavior data] from my [grade level and subject] and do the following: identify common student issues. Based on this information, provide a set of strategies that I can use with this student group to [desired outcome: increase engagement, lower student behavioral issues, etc.].
Example Prompt
You are an expert educator and student behavior specialist. Review this [student behavior data] from my 8th grade PE class and do the following: identify common student issues. Based on this information, provide a set of strategies that I can use with this student group to increase engagement in my class.
Make the Prompt Work for You
Include demographic data (gender, etc.) in the behavior data to see if there are any other trends that can be identified by student background.
Ask ChatGPT to provide insights on common strengths in the data to take a strengths based approach to your analysis.
