Re-defining Assessment in the Age of AI challenges traditional concepts of assessment and redefines the term for the era of Generative AI. Participants will reframe their understanding of assessment and consider how best to measure authentic student learning in light of the availability of AI technologies, gaining hands-on experience with practical tools and strategies that capture real-time student performance while limiting cognitive offload.

Paradigm Shifts: Develop an understanding of the current landscape of GenAI’s impact on assessment, comparing traditional and contemporary approaches to measuring student performance.
AI-Enabled Assessment: Learn strategies for augmenting traditional assessment techniques to improve the speed, quality, and impact of feedback and evaluation.
