To guide educators and students alike in the responsible use of AI, we worked with Vera Cubero to create one of our favorite resources: the EVERY framework.
This resource describes the key steps to harnessing the capabilities of GenAI while lowering unintended consequences by keeping ethics, human oversight, and transparency at the forefront.
We've made a key update to the framework based on Vera's work in NC and our work with schools, districts, and non-profits to create GenAI resources and guidelines. Check out North Carolina’s and other State AI Guidance.
EDIT is now: ENGAGE in conversation with the GenAI chatbot, providing critical feedback and oversight to improve the AI's output.
Why the change?
1. Emphasizes the interactive and conversational nature of working with GenAI chatbots
2. Encourages ongoing critical thinking and human evaluation of outputs
