  • Amanda Bickerstaff

    Amanda is the Founder and CEO of AI for Education. A former high school science teacher and EdTech executive with over 20 years of experience in the education sector, she has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that AI can offer. She is a frequent consultant, speaker, and writer on the topic of AI in education, leading workshops and professional learning across both K12 and Higher Ed. Amanda is committed to helping schools and teachers maximize their potential through the ethical and equitable adoption of AI.

    Rebecca K. Oliver

    Ms. Oliver is the Executive Director of the School Social Work Association of America. Prior to becoming the Executive Director, Mrs. Oliver served on the SSWAA Board of Directors and has over 20 years experience working as a school social worker. In her current role with SSWAA, Rebecca is able to support school social workers across the nation and advocate for the profession about which she is so passionate. When not working, Rebecca enjoys traveling with her husband Jon, singing, running, reading, doing home-improvements, and outdoor activities including walks with her two dogs, Abby & Buddy.

    Andrew Buher

    Mr. Buher is the Founder and Managing Director of Opportunity Labs, a national non-profit research, policy, and consulting lab. Andrew is a visiting lecturer at Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs. Andrew was appointed by President Obama to serve as a White House Fellow at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Prior to his work at HUD, Andrew was the Chief Operating Officer of the New York City Department of Education and formerly Chief of Staff to Chancellor Dennis Walcott. Andrew is a White House Fellow, Forbes 30 under 30 honoree, French American Foundation Young Leader, Atlantic Council Millennium Fellow, and an Education Pioneer. He received an MPA from Columbia University and a BA from Rider University. His writing has been featured in The Hill, CNN, Politico, and the NY Daily News.

    Dr. Marina Badillo-Diaz

    Dr. Badillo-Diaz is an experienced school administrator and counseling director with a demonstrated history of working in community mental health and in education as a social worker. Currently, Dr. Badillo-Diaz is a consultant focusing on the training of educators and social workers. She is also an adjunct professor and board member of the National School Social Work Association of America. She is also the author of the blog, “The AI Social Worker”, a 21st Century Skills and AI practice guide for Social Workers. Her areas of interest include 21st-century skills, social-emotional learning programming, school social work practice, education, youth mental health, clinical supervision for social workers, ethical AI, data management, and career development.
