  • Amanda Bickerstaff

    Amanda is the Co-Founder and CEO of AI for Education. A former high school biology teacher and EdTech executive with over 20 years of experience in the education sector. She has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that AI can offer. She is a frequent consultant, speaker, and writer on the topic of AI in education, leading workshops and professional learning across both K12 and Higher Ed. Amanda is committed to helping schools and teachers maximize their potential through the ethical and equitable adoption of AI.

  • Daniel Kosta

    Daniel is the Co-Founder and CMO of AI for Education. He is a marketing and strategic leader with over 20 years experience across education/edtech, subscription, media, and ecommerce. His previous experience includes leading marketing efforts for Wiley’s K12-focused business, the New York Times, and various startups and media organizations. He currently advises several startups and non-profits in the education space. Daniel holds an MBA from NYU and BA from Harvard University.

  • Corey Layne Crouch

    Corey is the Chief Program Officer and a former high school English teacher, school principal, and edtech executive. She has over 20 years of experience leading classrooms, schools, and district teams to transformative change focused on equity and access for all students. As a founding public charter school leader, she ensured that 100% of seniors were accepted to a four-year college. Her focus now lies in assessing the broader K-16 edtech ecosystem, uniting stakeholders at all levels to build a more equitable and abundant future for all. She holds an MBA from Rice University and a BA from Rowan University.

  • Maria Laws

    Maria is a Workshop Facilitator at AI for Education and a former K12 STEM educator, university faculty member, and education researcher. She has led national and global initiatives with educators and institutions, introducing creative approaches that strengthen teaching and learning. Her work focuses on empowering educators and students so that innovation expands opportunity and creates lasting impact. In addition to program leadership, Maria is a frequent speaker and advisor on learning and innovation. She holds an M.Ed. from Lesley University and a B.S. from Mount St. Mary’s University.

  • Wendy Morrey

    Wendy is a Curriculum & Content Developer at AI for Education. With over a decade of experience in K–12 education, she brings deep expertise in foundational literacy, instructional design, and technology integration. She has served as a classroom teacher, professional learning facilitator, and EdTech content developer, with a passion for creating engaging, accessible learning experiences for all students. Wendy is currently focused on developing AI literacy programs that empower students and educators to use generative AI tools safely, ethically, and effectively.

  • Mike Mitchell

    Mike is the Director of Business Development at AI for Education. He is a seasoned Edtech professional with over 20 years experience leading sales, strategy, and innovation in education, technology, and publishing. He began his career as an elementary school teacher before moving into sales and leadership roles at some of the industry's most influential companies, including HMH, Edmodo, Newsela, and Spotify’s Soundtrap for Education. He holds an EMBA from the Univ. of Georgia, an M.S. in School Administration from Indiana Univ., and a B.A. in Elementary Education from Purdue Univ.

  • Casey Johansen, M.A.

    Casey is a Project Manager at AI for Education. With over a decade of experience in secondary education, Casey brings a deep understanding of curriculum and instruction to her work. She focuses on improving workflows, streamlining processes, and supporting cross-functional teams by implementing operational efficiencies. Passionate about the safe and ethical use of AI in education, Casey is driven by the opportunity to contribute to a mission that prioritizes equity, innovation, and thoughtful integration of technology into learning environments.

  • Sid Madathikunnel

    Sid is the Content Marketing Manager at AI for Education. She has over a decade of experience in education, having taught ESL abroad and at home. She has also worked as a content writer, editor, publisher, and content strategist across the edtech and finance industries. Sid is driven by her natural curiosity and commitment to continuous growth. She is currently focused on making emerging technologies approachable and inclusive for all learners. Sid holds a Master’s in TEFL from the International Graduate School of English, and a BA in English from the University of Texas at Arlington.

  • Lyna Zuaiter

    Lyna is a Content & Curriculum Developer at AI for Education. With over 15 years of experience in K–12 education, she has served as an elementary teacher, district-level instructional specialist, and national curriculum developer. Her work focuses on creating research-based, educator-centered learning experiences and resources that support the ethical use of emerging technologies, and helping educational institutions navigate AI through cross-sector collaboration that advances access, equity, and instructional excellence. Lyna holds a master’s in Instructional Technology and Leadership from Texas A&M University.

  • Hannah Davis Ketteman

    Hannah is a Curriculum & Content Developer at AI for Education and has dedicated her career to building teacher capacity through pedagogy-based innovation. With 15 years of experience in public education, she brings deep classroom insight from her time as a high school English teacher and the systems-level perspective of a district Digital Learning Coach. Hannah is passionate about designing meaningful, engaging professional learning that empowers educators to integrate emerging technologies safely, responsibly, and with purpose.

  • Carrie Furmanski

    Carrie is the Executive Assistant at AI for Education. She provides high-level support to the executive team, ensuring seamless operations and strategic alignment. With a strong background in administration and a passion for innovation, she manages complex scheduling, coordinate key initiatives, and facilitate communication across teams. Carrie thrives in fast-paced environments where organization and adaptability are key. Supporting a mission-driven team that’s leveraging AI to transform learning and promote equity in education is both inspiring and deeply rewarding.
